Aline table at home
A table is a table is a table? Not exactly! Because the idea of using an office desk in your own four walls can work just as well if you can use a room exclusively for homework. But who really wants to bring such a lumbering monster into their living space?
A "pure" table that can be more than just a desk: the new Aline table model is specially designed for the living area. All in white, the table for the union of life and work is also an aesthetic delight. Aline table range, design: Andreas Störiko, photo: Wilkhahn
Therefore, Wilkhahn has taken the opposite approach: We ask ourselves what a table should look like that works well in the living area and at the same time meets all the quality requirements of a professional workbench. In short: what would a “pure” table look like that, depending on the conditions of the room and the occasion, could be used as a dining or work table, as a sideboard or as a side table for a large group of guests, and that, At the same time, it was so elegant and neutral in design that it would fit into a wide range of stylistic worlds.
The compact size of the new Aline table model requires little space and, on the other hand, offers enough surface to work or eat. Nice that the AT, a sleek and professional office chair, is also available in white. For design quality and healthy sitting at the highest level. Who could meet this demanding profile better than the Aline table, designed by Andreas Störiko, also creator of the legendary Confair folding table, which has long become a classic? That is why we have launched a new Aline table model, particularly suitable for various uses in the home: The size of the table top, 150 cm x 75 cm, is ideal for flexible use: large enough as a work surface and table dining area for four, yet compact enough to fit into small alcoves. With its frame of slender serrated columns, organically shaped aluminum feet and robust central frame, the table offers generous legroom on all four sides. As a result, it is easy to grab and "handle" when the intended use changes. The ease of handling is enhanced by the fact that the new model uses a wooden dashboard and a white painted structure. The homogeneous color design looks very fresh and at the same time understated.
It's nice that the AT office chair is also available in white, making the table and chair a very attractive duo that also dazzles at home.
Elegant, neutral and with plenty of legroom on all sides: the Aline table model for the private area impresses with its many uses and a design language that blends into any setting. Aline table range, design: Andreas Störiko, photo: Wilkhahn
