With the Aline range by Andreas Störiko, Wilkhahn is setting a new standard for furnishing multi-purpose areas and informal communication areas. The core of the Aline range is the skid-rail chair. Here, design, innovation and quality are consistently combined: the self-supporting seat and backrest frames made of highly resistant plastic and the filigree frame made of chrome-plated round steel create a stable mesh structure with small and lightweight materials thanks to a sophisticated construction principle. The colour-coordinated, tensioned upholstery adapts to different body shapes and, thanks to its rear ventilation, creates a pleasantly relaxed sitting experience. The special feature of this chair is that the seat and backrest frames, in white, black or grey, are designed according to the “skid-rail principle”. This enables extremely compact and safe stacking, with the seat upholstery being protected by the pre-defined spacing. Thanks to its integrated design, optically reduced to just two materials, Aline is an ideal equipment in restaurants, meeting rooms, auditoriums, waiting areas, operating rooms or private areas.
